About Krystle Johnson

Krystle is an enthusiastic leader dedicated to serving the community. She is involved in multiple service organizations (We All We Got, Detention Resistance, Books Thru Bars, and Porchlight) that provide food, hygiene, legal assistance, and housing to those in need.

Krystle has been a resident of Lemon Grove for over a decade. She is a wife and a dog mom who enjoys reading, puzzling, and connecting with those around her. She lost her dad in January 2025, and she works hard to live a life he would be proud of, in service to others.

She is an activist who uses her voice to fight for and center those most vulnerable in today’s tough economy. She is in many activist groups supporting the need to enact community care to create safety and security in an increasingly more divided world.

She is a high school special education teacher with a heart for families and fixing our education system. She has been teaching for over 13 years and fights hard for the future of her students.

A lifelong learner, she was recently accepted into the SDCOE program to receive an administrative credential, as well as being accepted into the Emerge Class of 2026. These connections will benefit our community.
